Mike Robb, Founder and Editor

Mike founded Speaker’s Chair in April 2012 as a cross-party political blog because he wanted to do something to improve online political debate. He currently works in PR in London, and previously worked for Betfair, leading their political betting. He has also spent time on two campaigns in the United States – the 2004 Presidential Election and a 2006 Senate race in Missouri, both for Democrats.

Ben Mitchell, Deputy Editor

Ben is Deputy Editor of Speaker’s Chair, having been involved with the site from the very beginning in April 2012. He is also contributing editor of Shifting Grounds, the left-leaning blog, and has written for Left Foot Forward, LabourList, Labour Uncut, and many other sites beginning with L.

Harriet is the Contributing Editor for the Conservative Party at Speaker's Chair, and currently works as a Parliamentary Assistant for an MP. Her interest in politics developed at a young age and she has campaigned for Conservative candidates at local and national elections.
